I am often asked how I got started with 3D printing. At the time, my youngest son and I were racing R/C cars with the Lake Superior R/C Club. Some of my other racer buddies where sharing pictures with our chat group of the parts they were printing for a R/C snowmobile! Soon I had an idea for a part I wanted to print for one of my cars. I bought my first Ender 3 and fell in love with the whole process and the unlimited possibilities that 3D printing opens up!

I personally print everything I sell in my home basement. Flint 3D is the definition of a local, home-based, handmade business.
